Corporate sustainability starts with the values at the core of organizations.  It involves a principle-driven approach to doing business. This means they operate in ways that meet fundamental responsibilities in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption. Many companies, including Guardian Rock Wealth™, are signatories to the United Nations Global Compact and incorporate the Ten principals of this Compact, which is the largest sustainability initiative in the world, into their strategies, policies, and procedures.  Through this and by establishing a culture of integrity, we aim to uphold our basic obligations to people and planet while also setting the stage for long-term success.

The following is a list of Ten Principles Guardian Rock Wealth™, its affiliated financial services companies, and other signatories to the United Nations Global Compact, have embraced:

1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights.

2: make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.

3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.

4: the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labor.

5: the effective abolition of child labor.

6: the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.

7: Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges.

8: undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility.

9: encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.

10: Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.

We believe that signing on to the Compact is good business and good for everyone.
